In the last session, yesterday, the Nifty 50 closed at 22,603, down 0.8 percent, the Nifty Bank closed at 55,056, down 0.1 percent and the Nifty Midcap 150 closed at 21,838, down 0.6 percent. On NSE, 1,174 stocks rose and 1,720 fell.

Among stocks that traded at least five crore rupees, the biggest gainers were India Glycols, up 20.0 percent, AceVector, up 20.0 percent and Moneyview, up 19.7 percent; the biggest fallers were Inox Green Energy Services, down 7.3 percent, Raymond, down 6.8 percent and BirlaNu, down 6.1 percent.
