Anant Raj Cloud Singapore and Orange Business Services Singapore signed a memorandum of understanding with Haryana's Department of Industries & Commerce on October 6 to market data-centre, cloud and AI infrastructure services hosted in the state to international customers. Anant Raj plans about 307 MW of IT load across campuses at Manesar, Panchkula and Rai in Sonipat, with Rai alone at around 200 MW. The shares traded at Rs 614.85, up 0.98%, at 11:37 am.
The finance angle is the Rs 25,000 crore Anant Raj committed to data-centre infrastructure in Haryana under a June 2026 memorandum: the Orange tie-up is about finding overseas tenants for that capacity. A developer earns from data centres through long leases and cloud contracts, so the 307 MW matters only as it is built and filled. The agreement is a memorandum with no contract value disclosed, so the direct effect for now is small; the spending falls on power, cooling and server suppliers.
